Media personality and Crown Gospel Awards founder Zanele Mbokazi is recovering from her illness.

On April 21 the Ukhozi FM presenter fell ill and could not finish  Eshilo as she experienced challenges with her voice, which saw her colleague Thokozani MaMkhize Ndlovu filling in for her.

Zanele has been hospitalised for a week. Her daughter Nonjabulo told TshisaLIVE she underwent minor surgery for shortness of breath on Friday.

“The surgery was a success. She is still in hospital recovering well. We are grateful for the love, well-wishes and prayers.”

Zanele took to her Facebook timeline to thank those who have been sending her messages of support.

“Thank you to all the pastors, artists and friends who sent prayers and flowers. Thank you as well to my Eshilo family for your prayers and messages of support on this page. My in-laws in Swaziland, thank you for the love. The theatre procedure went well. Now managing the pain.”

Let me encourage someone this morning from my hospital bed. Fear not. If God puts a Goliath in front of you, He knows...
